6.    Data protection provisions about the application and use of YouTube

On this website, the controller has integrated components of YouTube. YouTube is an Internet video portal that enables video publishers to set video clips and other users free of charge, which also provides free viewing, review and commenting on them. YouTube allows you to publish all kinds of videos, so you can access both full movies and TV broadcasts, as well as music videos, trailers, and videos made by users via the Internet portal.

The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, UNITED STATES. The YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, UNITED STATES.

With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component. Further information about YouTube may be obtained under https://www.youtube.com/about/. During the course of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website was visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in on YouTube, YouTube recognizes with each call-up to a sub-page that contains a YouTube video, which specific sub-page of our Internet site was visited by the data subject. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.

YouTube and Google will receive information through the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website, if the data subject at the time of the call to our website is logged in on YouTube; this occurs regardless of whether the person clicks on a YouTube video or not. If such a transmission of this information to YouTube and Google is not desirable for the data subject, the delivery may be prevented if the data subject logs off from their own YouTube account before a call-up to our website is made.

YouTube’s data protection provisions, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms and https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en , provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

7.    Google Maps Privacy Policy

We use Google Maps from Google Inc. on our website (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). With Google Maps, we can better show you locations and thus adapt our service to your needs. By using Google Maps, data is transferred to Google and stored on the Google servers. Here we want to go into more detail about what Google Maps is, why we use this Google service, what data is stored and how you can prevent this.

7.1.                  What is Google Maps?

Google Maps is an internet map service from Google Inc. With Google Maps you can search for exact locations of cities, sights, accommodations or companies online using a PC, tablet or app. If companies are represented on Google My Business, additional information about the company is displayed in addition to the location. In order to show the way to get there, map sections of a location can be integrated into a website using HTML code. Google Maps shows the surface of the earth as a road map or as an aerial or satellite image. Thanks to the Street View images and the high-quality satellite images, very precise representations are possible.

7.2.                  Why do we use Google Maps on our website?

All our efforts on this page aim to offer you a useful and meaningful time on our website. By integrating Google Maps, we can provide you with the most important information about various locations. You can see at a glance where we are based. The route description always shows you the best or fastest way to us. You can get directions for routes by car, public transport, on foot or by bike. For us, the provision of Google Maps is part of our customer service.

7.3.                  What data does Google Maps store?

In order for Google Maps to be able to offer its full service, the company must record and store data about you. This includes, among other things, the search terms entered, your IP address and the latitude and longitude coordinates. If you use the route planner function, the entered start address is also saved. However, this data storage happens on the Google Maps website. We can only inform you about it, but we cannot influence it. Since we have integrated Google Maps into our website, Google sets at least one cookie (name: NID) in your browser. This cookie stores data about your user behavior. Google primarily uses this data to optimize its own services and to provide individual, personalized advertising for you.

For more information on the purpose and scope of Google’s data collection and processing, your rights, and privacy preferences, please visit https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the US and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework How long and where is the data stored?

The Google servers are located in data centers around the world. Most of the servers are located in America. For this reason, your data is increasingly being stored in the USA. Here you can read exactly where the Google data centers are located:

https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/?hl=de

Google distributes the data on various data carriers. This means that the data can be called up more quickly and is better protected against any manipulation attempts. Each data center also has special emergency programs. If, for example, there are problems with the Google hardware or a natural disaster paralyzes the servers, the data will almost certainly remain protected.

Google stores some data for a specified period of time. For other data, Google only offers the option to delete it manually. The company also anonymizes information (such as advertising data) in server logs by deleting part of the IP address and cookie information after 9 or 18 months.

8.0                   Google Analytics Privacy Policy

We use the analysis tracking tool Google Analytics (GA) from the American company Google LLC (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. Google Analytics collects data about your actions on our website. If you click on a link, for example, this action is saved in a cookie and sent to Google Analytics. The reports we receive from Google Analytics allow us to better tailor our website and service to your needs. In the following we will go into more detail about the tracking tool and, above all, inform you about which data is stored and how you can prevent this.

8.1.                  What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a tracking tool that is used to analyze the traffic on our website. In order for Google Analytics to work, a tracking code is built into the code of our website. When you visit our website, this code records various actions you take on our website. As soon as you leave our website, this data is sent to the Google Analytics server and stored there.

Google processes the data and we get reports about your user behavior. These can include the following reports:

a.     Target group reports: We get to know our users better through target group reports and know more precisely who is interested in our service.

b.     Display reports: Display reports enable us to analyze and improve our online advertising more easily.

c.     Acquisition reports: Acquisition reports give us helpful information about how we can get more people excited about our service.

d.     Behavior reports: Here we learn how you interact with our website. We can understand which way you travel on our site and which links you click.

e.     Conversion reports: Conversion is a process in which you perform a desired action based on a marketing message. For example, if you change from a pure website visitor to a buyer or newsletter subscriber. With the help of these reports, we can learn more about how our marketing measures are received by you. This is how we want to increase our conversion rate.

f.      Real-time reports: Here we always find out immediately what is happening on our website. For example, we see how many users are currently reading this text.

8.2.                  Why do we use Google Analytics on our website?

Our goal with this website is clear: we want to offer you the best possible service. The statistics and data from Google Analytics help us to achieve this goal.

The statistically evaluated data show us a clear picture of the strengths and weaknesses of our website. On the one hand, we can optimize our site so that it can be found more easily by interested people on Google. On the other hand, the data help us to better understand you as a visitor. We therefore know very well what we need to improve on our website in order to offer you the best possible service. The data also help us to carry out our advertising and marketing measures more individually and more cost-effectively. After all, it only makes sense to show our products and services to people who are interested in them.

8.3.                  What data does Google Analytics store?

Google Analytics uses a tracking code to create a random, unique ID that is linked to your browser cookie. This is how Google Analytics recognizes you as a new user. The next time you visit our site, you will be recognized as a "returning" user. All collected data is saved together with this user ID. It is only possible to evaluate pseudonymous user profiles in the first place.

Labels such as cookies and app instance IDs measure your interactions on our website. Interactions are all types of actions that you perform on our website. If you also use other Google systems (such as a Google account), data generated via Google Analytics can be linked to third-party cookies. Google does not pass on Google Analytics data unless we as the website operator approve it. Exceptions may occur if it is required by law.

Location: The country and your approximate location can be determined via the IP address. This process is also known as IP location determination.

Technical information: The technical information includes, among other things, your browser type, your Internet provider or your screen resolution.

Source of origin: Google Analytics or us are of course also interested in which website or which advertising you came to our site.

Other data include contact details, any ratings, playing media (e.g. if you play a video on our site), sharing content via social media or adding it to your favorites. The list has no claim to completeness and is only used for a general orientation of data storage by Google Analytics

8.4.  How long and where is the data stored?

Google has spread your servers around the world. Most of the servers are located in America and therefore your data is usually stored on American servers. Here you can read exactly where the Google data centers are located: https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/?hl=de

Your data is distributed on various physical data carriers. This has the advantage that the data can be called up more quickly and is better protected against manipulation. Every Google data center has appropriate emergency programs for your data. If, for example, the hardware at Google fails or natural disasters paralyze servers, the risk of a service interruption at Google remains low.

Google Analytics has a standard retention period of 26 months for your user data. Then your user data will be deleted. However, we have the option of choosing the retention period for user data. We have five options:

• Deletion after 14 months

• Deletion after 26 months

• Deletion after 38 months

• Deletion after 50 months

• No automatic deletion

When the specified period has expired, the data is deleted once a month. This retention period applies to your data, which are linked to cookies, user identification and advertising IDs (e.g. cookies from the DoubleClick domain). Report results are based on aggregated data and are saved independently of user data. Aggregated data is a combination of individual data into a larger unit.

8.5.                  How can I delete my data or prevent data storage?

You can prevent the storage of cookies via your browser settings; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use this website to the fullest extent possible. In addition, you may prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing this browser plug-in: The current link is http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link: Deactivate google analytics

9.                  Google reCAPTCHA Privacy Policy

We use Google reCAPTCHA from the American company Google LLC (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. With reCAPTCHA we can determine whether you are a real person and not a robot or spam software. By spam we mean any electronically undesirable information we receive involuntarily.

With reCAPTCHA, we can determine whether you really are a flesh-and-blood human being and not a robot or other spam software. By spam we mean any unsolicited information sent to us electronically.

9.1.             What is reCAPTCHA?

reCAPTCHA is a free captcha service from Google that protects websites from spam software and abuse by non-human visitors. The most common use of this service is when you fill out forms on the web. A captcha service is an automatic Turing test designed to ensure that an action on the Internet is performed by a human and not a bot. In the classic Turing test (named after computer scientist Alan Turing), a human determines the distinction between a bot and a human. In captchas, this is also done by the computer or a software program. Classic captchas work with small tasks that are easy for humans to solve, but present significant difficulties for machines. With reCAPTCHA you don’t have to actively solve puzzles anymore. The tool uses modern risk techniques to distinguish humans from bots. With Invisible reCAPTCHA used by Bamboo, even that is no longer necessary. With reCAPTCHA v3, a JavaScript element is included in the source code and then the tool runs in the background and analyzes your user behavior. From these user actions, the software calculates a so-called captcha score. Google uses this score to calculate how likely you are to be human even before you enter the captcha. ReCAPTCHA or captchas in general are always used when bots could manipulate or abuse certain actions (such as registrations, surveys, etc.). At LASSELSBERBER, the following pages are protected by reCAPTCHA v3: Login page, Registration page, Forgot password page, Contact page.

The following list examples of collected browser and user data that are processed by Google.

Referrer URL (the address of the page from which the visitor came).

Operating system info (the software that allows your computer to run. Known operating systems are Windows, Mac OS X or Linux)

Cookies (small text files that store data in your browser)

Mouse and keyboard behavior (every action you perform with the mouse or keyboard is stored)

Date and language settings (which language or date you have preset on your PC is saved)

All JavaScript objects (JavaScript is a programming language that allows websites to adapt to the user. JavaScript objects can collect all kinds of data under one name)

Screen resolution (shows how many pixels the image display consists of)

9.2.           Why do we use reCAPTCHA on our website?

We want to welcome only flesh and blood people on our site. Bots or spam software of any kind may safely stay at home. That’s why we pull out all the stops to protect ourselves and offer the best possible user experience for you. For this reason we use Google reCAPTCHA from Google. This way we can be pretty sure that we remain a “bot-free” website. By using reCAPTCHA, data is transmitted to Google, which Google uses to determine whether you are actually a human being. reCAPTCHA therefore serves the security of our website and, by extension, your security. For example, without reCAPTCHA it could happen that a bot registers as many e-mail addresses as possible during registration in order to “spam” forums or blogs with unwanted advertising content. Spam bots could try to guess the e-mail addresses of our customers, e.g. with the password forgotten page. With reCAPTCHA we can avoid such bot attacks.

9.3.           How long and where is the data stored?

Google has spread your servers around the world. Most of the servers are located in America and therefore your data is usually stored on American servers. Here you can read exactly where the Google data centers are located: https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/?hl=de

9.4.           How can I delete my data or prevent data storage?

If you want to prevent any data about you and your behaviour to be transmitted to Google, you must fully log out of Google and delete all Google cookies before visiting our website or use the reCAPTCHA software. Generally, the data is automatically sent to Google as soon as you visit our website. To delete this data, you must contact Google Support at https://support.google.com/?hl=en-GB&tid=111681080

10.           Google Ads Privacy Policy

We use the offer of Google Ads, in order to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising (so-called Google Ads) on external web pages. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. We are interested in showing you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting to you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

10.1.         What is Google Ads?

These advertising materials are supplied by Google via so-called “ad servers”. To do this, we use ad server cookies, from which certain performance metrics such as ads or user clicks can be measured. If you access our website through a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and should not serve to personally identify you. As a rule, the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wants to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

10.2.         Why do we use Google Ads?

These cookies allow Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer may discover that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to that page. Each Ads customer is assigned a different cookie. Thus cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We receive only statistical evaluations provided by Google. On the basis of these evaluations, we can identify which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence over the scope of the data collected by the employment of this tool by Google and the further use of such data, and inform you therefore according to our level of knowledge: By including Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or have clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a service provided by Google, Google may associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a chance that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR.

10.3.         How long and where is the data stored?

Google has spread your servers around the world. Most of the servers are located in America and therefore your data is usually stored on American servers. Here you can read exactly where the Google data centers are located: https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/?hl=de

11.             Data Security

LASSELSBERGER Group GmbH uses technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

12.            Storage Period

We will save the personal data processed via our website as long as they are required for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations. If processing depends upon your consent, we will store this data as long as you do not withdraw your consent. We will also store your data only as long as we are obligated by law to store them and as long as claims can be asserted against us. For further details please see the above sections.

13.            Right to information and contact details

You have a right of access to your personal data stored and also a right of correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion.

If you are registered as a user of individual services of LASSELSBERGER Group GmbH, we also offer you to partially view the data via a user account and, if necessary, to delete or change it.

If you wish to receive information about your personal data or to correct or delete it or if you have further questions about the use of your personal data provided to us, please contact:

datenschutz@lasselsberger.com

14.            Inclusion, validity and timeliness of the privacy policy

By using our website, you consent to the previously described use of the data. The privacy policy is currently valid and dated from 01 December 2023.

Due to the development of our website or the implementation of new technologies, it may be necessary to change this privacy policy. LASSELSBERGER Group GmbH reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time with effect for the future. We recommend that you review the current privacy policy from time to time.
